    Thanks for posting this – I’ve been blasted by right wing revisionist blowhards who insist it was a legitimate response to some kind of armed Hippie uprising. It certainly wasn’t but it’s hard to convince a generation raised from birth on propaganda.

    We fictionalized the Boston Massacre to make the rebels sound like heroes and we fictionalized Kent State to make peaceful protesters seem like armed insurgents and we never learn or try to learn.
